PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Lit Portraiture in the Woods

Date: Saturday 27 June I 9.30am-12.30pm
Venue: St Edmund's Art Department

Tickets: £25 including all materials
Minimum age: 15 Yrs, Limited to 12 places

Lit Portraiture in the Woods is a practical workshop led by documentary photographer Edward Thompson, exploring how portable studio lighting can be used creatively in natural woodland settings.

 

Participants will develop on-location lighting skills, experiment with portable equipment, and learn how light, mood, and narrative can enhance contemporary documentary portraiture, both outdoors and in the studio.

Stringfever bring their trademark blend of virtuosity, humour and genre-defying performance to the stage for A Night of Unforgettable Melodies. Fusing classical technique with pop, rock and contemporary favourites, the group deliver a high-energy, entertaining show packed with musical surprises, dazzling arrangements and infectious charm. Expect world-class musicianship, playful theatricality and an evening guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.

In addition to the concert, Stringfever will lead an interactive daytime workshop open to all string players — from school-age musicians to adults. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to work closely with these exceptional performers, exploring technique, ensemble skills and the joy of music-making in a fun, supportive environment.
