CERAMICS WORKSHOP

with Joshua Aubrook

Date: Saturday 28 June I 9.30am-12.30pm
Venue: St Edmund's Art Department

Tickets: £25 including all materials
Minimum age: 15 Yrs, Limited to 12 places

Join us for a Ceramics workshop with the renowned British ceramicist Joshua Aubrook. Joshua is a British ceramicist based in South West London and specialises in clay casting, sculpting and glaze development. Joshua is inspired by the art and theology of the ‘Christian Wonderous’ style of medieval Europe. Centering idealism over realistic depiction in his form.

 

Joshua holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Ceramics from the University for the Creative Arts, 2018 and a Masters Degree in Ceramics from the Royal College of Art, 2023. Joshua was shortlisted for the Wales Contemporary Awards in 2022, and has exhibited through Bonhams in the Art of Craft auction, 2023.

Venue: Chapel & Festival Marquee
FREE
(no ticket required)

As part of this years Festival we aim to reach out to our St Edmund's community and celebrate 50 years of educating the choristers of Canterbury Cathedral. Former choristers, school staff, Choir House staff and parents are invited to join us for a special performance in our school chapel, featuring our former choristers, followed by a reception in our wonderful Festival Marquee.
