It was with great sadness that we were unable to go ahead with our planned Festival in June 2020. We will continue our commitment to the arts and performance at St Edmund’s School and are working on bringing you some fantastic events in 2021.

We will post updates and news here and on social media.  See you again soon!

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Festival on the Hill at St Edmund’s School Canterbury is now firmly established as Canterbury's summer arts festival that offers something for everyone with a week full of music, theatre and art.

St Edmund's Festival is proud to have John Harle, award winning composer and saxophonist, as its Festival Patron.   Past acts include Curtis Stigers, Freddy Kempf, Jess Gillam, Tasmin Little, Derek Nash & Louise Marshall, Harry the Piano and The Tippett Quartet. 2020 brings another sensational line up of acts from world-class musicians as well as events for all the family, workshops and talks.  At the heart of the Festival is the opportunity for young people to showcase their own talents and watch, listen and play alongside inspiring international performers.
